12th Anniversary WOW (Women on Wheels) Ride

Stars, Stripes & Spokes

Join women from across the region for the 12th Anniversary WOW Ride, hosted by our neighbors at the Village Idiots Cycling Club (Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, and Sarasota). Celebrating cycling, community, and America’s upcoming 250th birthday, WOW welcomes women of all abilities! Gentlemen are welcome to volunteer or support this ride!

  • New venue & scenic route options for every fitness/experience level.
  • Saturday Night Social at Big Top Brewing Co. Sarasota featuring Amanda Coker (Guinness World Record holder for greatest distance cycled in one year: 86,573 miles!).

Supporting a Great Cause

Proceeds benefit Selah Freedom, supporting survivors of sex trafficking through prevention, outreach, and restoration programs.

Post-Ride Lunch: There is a pavilion with picnic tables where we can gather to eat lunch from Detwiler's after the ride. Restrooms are available on-site.

If you want to stay close to UTC Mall & Benderson Park:

  • Hotels East of I-75: Quick drive to local stores with a Publix conveniently located right nearby.
